Detroit Red Wing Alumni (DRWA) signs multi-year deal with the G1NBC Sports Network

The Detroit Red Wing Alumni signed a multi-year contract today with the G1NBC Sports Network. G1NBC will now have all broadcast and promotion responsibilities for the DRWA starting in August of this year.
Red Wing Alumni Secretary George Bowman said, “We are excited to be associated with The G1NBC Sports Network and look forward to their help in getting our message out to the Red Wing’s faithful fans and our charitable partners. I feel G1NBC will help our partners raise the extra funds for their respective benefactors. We’re already the oldest and foremost alumni organization in sports, so we feel G1NBC will help to insure that our exposure to our fan base is even more far reaching.”
“It’s a great opportunity for our company to work with such a strong brand with a great cause,” responded Greg Vanderzell, VP/COO of G1NBC. “Any association with the Winged Wheel of Detroit is seen as a strong and G1NBC SPORTS NETWORK 1 positive partnership and I know we will live up to the challenge of benefiting The DRWA and their charities.”
The G1NBC Global 1 Network Broadcast Company now has a presence in 12 states with almost 30 affiliates with plans to sign even more this year. Vanderzell also states, “this gives all of the “Wing Nuts” around the country a little bigger slice of home.”
