First National Bank looking for scholarship applicants

First National Bank is looking for up to 10 applicants for scholarships of $1,000 each. These scholarships are available for any Livingston County high school seniors who attend public, private, charter schools, or are homeschooled, to continue their academic or vocational education through the First National Bank 2019 Community Scholarship Program. Five teachers will also see classroom grants of $250 presented as part of the scholarship program.

Applicants should also keep in mind consideration for community service, after-school employment and/or extra-curricular activity participation; recommendation letters; and challenges they have overcome to graduate.

Scholarship Requirements: Minimum 3.0 GPA is required

Application Deadline: March 9, 2019

Applications are available at or from high school counselors.

Recipients will be announced at the various school’s scholarship events and at a dinner hosted by First National for the recipients, their family and invited guests. The teacher classroom grants will be selected as part of the scholarship process, no application is necessary.
