Howell Area Chamber of Commerce Referral Group 2 gives back by picking vegetables for Salvation Army Summer Lunch Bunch

Howell Area Chamber of Commerce Referral Group 2: Women’s Empowerment re-schedules their typical meeting in order to give back and pay it forward. The group of chamber women will be picking vegetables at a local garden for the Salvation Army Summer Lunch Bunch on July 26. During the summer, many kids who receive free lunches at school often go without food during the summer. Summer Lunch Bunch, hosted by the Salvation Army, prepares food for kids who would typically go without food for the entire summer day.

Howell Area Chamber of Commerce Referral Groups meet twice a month and are a very tight group of chamber members who work to refer each other’s businesses to customers and within the community. Referral Groups are comprised of only one type of business in each group in order to prevent competition between Referral Group members. There are currently two Referral Groups at the Howell Chamber who both meet the second and fourth Wednesdays of each month. If you would be interested in joining a Referral Group, please contact Kim Esper at the Howell Chamber: 517.546.3920
