LESA offers summer camps to expose middle schoolers to occupations in manufacturing and health

Camp Infinity

Camp Infinity introduces girls to computer and internet technologies through hands-on activities. Campers are split into two groups according to the Fall 2018 grade level: 5th-6th grade and 7th-8th grade. Campers in grades 5th-6th will study video game design concepts and design their own web page. Campers in grades 7th-8th will do robotics and HTML web design. In addition, students will participate in mini- sessions that highlight programming skills and real-world uses of technology. Campers will also get an opportunity to meet with women who work in technological fields and explore career options in technology.

Shop Rats

Health Careers Camp

Health Careers Camp is a three day career introduction camp for any students entering grades 7-9 who are interested in a future in Health Occupations or are looking for exposure into the health/medical field. This camp will include fun activities, job shadow, college road trips, and tours of medical facilities, as well as hands on experience!
