Livingston County Planning Commission looks to fill vacant seat

The Livingston County Board of Commissioners seek to fill a vacancy for a member on the Livingston County Planning Commission, which meets at 6:30 p.m. on the third Wednesday of each month. County Planning Commissioners are expected to attend monthly meetings to review and make recommendations on rezoning cases, zoning ordinance and master plan amendments as submitted by the sixteen townships in the county. Additionally, County Planning Commissioners are currently assisting County Planning Staff with the preparation of a new Livingston County Master Plan.

It is preferred that County Planning Commission applicants have some knowledge of planning and zoning subjects. Livingston County Planning Staff will provide an orientation to planning commission responsibilities.
